It seems that quite a lot of people like to listen to a slow but calm delivery on unthreatening themes such as poetry and history – perhaps they find it relaxing after the stresses of the average day.
Poetry Changes Lives was inspired by the author’s Commonplace Book, which he has had since it was first given to him in1954 – it is now nearly full. You can see Chris talking about his Commonplace Book on video entitled ‘Find what You Love and Let It Kill You’ – the saying attributed to hard living poet and writer Charles Bukowski.

Chris is intending to produce a Commonplace Book to encourage the practice of amassing a store of favourite writings over a lifetime because it gave him so much pleasure. When produced, very soon, it will be available on Amazon.
